As the national sales manager at Glacier Invest, Jaco leads the team in advocating the benefits of “Solutions Architecture” to advisers, facilitating the implementation of premium offerings, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Jaco’s journey in financial services commenced in 2001 at Sanlam Life, where he gained operational insights and advisory experience before joining PPS Investments in 2008. Subsequently, he contributed significantly to Grindrod Asset Management’s distribution efforts, culminating in his role as Head of Distribution for Merchant West Investments.

Karusha joined Glacier Invest as a Business Development Manager in the Gauteng in August 2025.

She is passionate about investment markets and building long-term relationships with financial intermediaries, whom she strives to serve by offering superior solutions to fit the needs/goals of their clients.

Karusha has 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in 2006 at an online, unit trust platform called Equinox where she spent 4 years in Management/Operations before joining RMB Asset Management for 2 years in a similar capacity. Thereafter she entered the impactful world of Retail Distribution, where she spent 3 years at Glacier, 3 years at Old Mutual Wealth and 7 years at the Old Mutual Investment Group, as the FAIS representative of the OMIG single-managed fund range in KZN.

Karusha has obtained the following qualifications:

Jan joined Glacier Invest as a business development manager in 2019. His focus is building and maintaining Glacier Invest’s discretionary fund manager offering.

Jan has been part of the Sanlam Group since 1991. He started his career with Sanlam Product Development and spent much time in the Broker Distribution division. He also spent 13 years with Sanlam Investment Management (SIM).

Jan has obtained the following qualifications:

Barbara joined Glacier Invest as a DFM business development manager in June 2018. Her role includes identifying opportunities to position and market Glacier Invest with new and existing IFAs; providing technical specialist support; and growing the AUM in their model portfolios.

Before Glacier Invest, Barbara spent nine years at Sanlam Investments as an investment specialist. She has almost 30 years’ industry experience, having honed her skills at, among others, Southern Life, the FirstRand Group, STANLIB, African Harvest and Fidelity International, a UK-based company.

Barbara has obtained the following qualifications:

Hanrie joined Glacier Invest as a Business Development Manager in the Western Cape in August 2024.

She is dedicated to cultivating relationships with independent financial advisers in the Western Cape region and collaborating with them to deliver exceptional investment solutions to their clients.

Hanrie has 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She started her career in 2015 at an independent financial advisory firm, whereafter she joined PSG Wealth in the employee benefits division. She joined Glacier Invest from Alexander Forbes Financial Services (Pty) Ltd where she was a retirement consulting specialist for institutional clients.

John joined Glacier Invest as a business development manager in 2018. In his role, he champions Glacier Invest’s new business processes as well as the conversion strategies. In partnership with Glacier, he collaborates to convert assets into the Glacier Invest wrap fund strategies in the context of implemented consulting, customised solutions or off-the-shelf solutions to advisers.

As a seasoned professional in investments, before Glacier Invest, and for decade, John was with Sanlam Investment Management (SIM).

Over time, he has honed his skills at Old Mutual, Norwich/Fedsure, Appleton, PSG, AssetHouse and Sanlam Investments.

John has obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Financial Markets from the Academy of Financial Markets (AFM).

Lindo Mthimkhulu joined Glacier Invest in April 2023 as a Business Development Manager, with a dedicated focus on Succession Financial Planning (SFP).

He brings nearly 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, having held senior roles across several leading institutions. Prior to joining Glacier Invest, he served as a Senior Business Development Manager at ABSA Fund Managers for three years.

Lindo has built his career through a range of client-facing and strategic roles at firms such as Allan Gray, Glacier by Sanlam, and Old Mutual Wealth developing deep expertise in discretionary fund management and client engagement.

Lindie joined Glacier Invest in June 2019 as a relationship manager for Sanlam Investments. Her role entails analysis and maintenance of the client investment book of business; marketing the discretionary fund management proposition to IFAs and tied agents; maintaining existing client setup and running of investment committees; providing fund information and assisting with capital gains tax calculations. She plays a key role as a liaison between the portfolio managers and clients.

In her 20-year career, Lindie has honed her skills at Sanlam Investments, OMIGSA and Momentum.
